Our February newsletter has just gone out to members with details about this years membership and directory. The following is the leding article from our Chair, David Dent:

The Covid pandemic seems to find new ways to frustrate us all, but some things remain possible and while there are challenges we are working on publishing the 2021 edition of the Chamber of Commerce Information, Trade and Services Directory. This year the Chamber has received financial support from Watton Town Council for the production of the Directory to bring this important community resource to you. I would like to express our thanks and appreciation to the Town Council for this assistance. Another of our activities that is continuing despite Covid is the proposal with the Wayland Partnership Development Trust to develop a Digital and Creative Media Centre on the Wayland House site. The proposal received support for Watton Town Council at their last meeting and the Wayland Partnership and we are now consulting with the other Wayland Parish Councils followed by planned discussions with both Breckland Council and Norfolk County Council. We will keep you informed as we make progress with this important initiative for Wayland and surrounds.

On other matters we have our AGM coming up soon in  March (see below) and a reminder that if there is anything you feel the Chamber can do for you, then get in contact.

All the very best
David

Chairman
