Watton Sports and Recreational Centre
Watton Sports and Recreational Centre is a Registered Charity No. 26128 We have been at the heart of well-being for Watton since 1948.
We offer:
Fully equipped gym run for us by Armoured Muscle
Squash Courts – Badminton – Pickleball -Tennis
Bowls (Crown Green and Short Mat indoors) – Snooker – Pool – Darts – Park Run – Football – Hockey
Additionally, there are classes for Martial Arts, Zumba, Keep Fit etc. and on Sunday Mornings Purpose Church hold meetings at our centre.
We host the Men’s Shed, Watton Ladies Group, Book Club.
Our fully licenced Social Club offers a wide range of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays we hold our Lunch Club with a variety of dishes at very competitive prices. Snacks and Cakes are available at all times.
Our large halls are available to hire for Parties, Wedding Receptions, Wakes and Conferences and the larger hall has an internal marquee available for special events.
We hold regular theme nights (Quiz, Drag Bingo, Race Nights, Music, Bingo etc)
We are open 08.00 to 22.00 Monday to Friday, 08.00 to 23.00 Saturdays and 10.00 to 17.00 Sundays.
We have around 10 acres of sports fields available at all times for picnics, dog walking or casual ball games.

Criteria for Joining the Wayland Chamber Of Commerce
Membership of the Wayland Chamber of Commerce is open to any individual person, company or business interested in or actively engaged in business in the Wayland Area upon application and payment of the subscription fee for the year. The Committee of the Chamber of Commerce meets eleven times each year and new applications are considered at each meeting. The Committee reserves the right to refuse an application for membership without assigning a reason. Only fully paid up members are entitled to vote and take part in Chamber activities unless specifically otherwise notified.
Subscriptions
Every member pays an annual subscription of an amount determined by the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in advance each year.
All subscriptions become due on the last day of December each year. No member is entitled to vote at any meeting of the Chamber unless the subscription has been paid for the relevant calendar year.
